Osama bin Laden’s Last Facebook Post

  • by Jim Lakely

This has been going around the last couple of days, and it’s quite funny.

Before he was sent to sleep with the sturgeons (instead of his 72 virgins), Osama once said:

“We love death. The US loves life. That is the difference between us two.”

True. But the U.S. is very much loving your death, OBL. And having a good laugh, in the American way.

To register dissent from your use of “U.S.,” which implies unanimity: I “love” no one’s death, not even this one.

That there’s general approbation doesn’t make it any less of an extra-judicial equivalent of a mob hit. It still was without pretext of law, or even the attempt at any formalities of objective law.

Rarely has anyone gotten more of what he deserved in a MORAL sense, but let’s not forget the other side of it. And how that reinforces, with actions, an already illegally proclaimed authority for a president to kill anyone he chooses, whether by reason, policy, or sheer whim.

(Oh, yes. I found the graphic “message” to be funny, and one of the few such creations since Sunday that doesn’t have blood-lust in it.)

The assurance of USA’s national security, during a time of WAR, makes it legal. It was our response, to his prior and planned action against us.

He started it…we finished it…end of story.

He shoulda just kept to himself, if he didn’t want a bullet to the brain.

    • Drownintheocean

you need some pills….your morality is “filler” and pompass!….we need less of YOU “hippy-chicks”, and more of those proud men, of the “6-team”.
