Chicago’s NBC Affiliate Covers Key CDC Hearing for Meningitis Vaccine

Heartland’s Kendall Antikeier mentioned our efforts to bring the public’s attention to the Centers for Disease Control’s seeming reluctance to recommend — after the FDA has done so — a new infant vaccine for meningitis. This shot will save lives, but the CDC is balking over price. It’s rationing, ObamaCare-style.

Chicago’s NBC affiliate was at the meeting we attended this week in Chicago. Here’s their report. It’s worth watching.

As a parent who lost her son to bacterial meningitis, because at the time no meningitis vaccines were recommended, I urge the CDC to protect our infants and all children from a killer disease that is potentially vaccine-preventable.  There is no dollar amount to put on the life of a child, and I am sure all parents would agree that they have a right to know what they can do to protect their children.  Please visit the National Meningitis Association Web site http://www.nmaus.org for more information.
