Steve Stanek, managing editor of Budget & Tax News and research fellow at The Heartland Institute, debated three folks on Monday’s Chicago Tonight on the city’s PBS station. The topic (of course): The debt debate in Washington.
Typically, it was three against one: the moderator, Carol Marin, framing the questions from a liberal perspective, and the two other guests disagreeing with just about every point Steve made. It’s an interesting debate regardless, and Steve knocked it out of the park.
