This special edition of The Heartland Daily Podcast comes to you from Paris, France where the U.N.’s COP-21 climate conference is underway. Heartland Vice President James Taylor joins Director of Communications Jim Lakely to discuss the happenings of conference so far.
Taylor and Lakely also get into the scandal at NOAA involving temperature data manipulation. Taylor explains the process this organization uses to artificially inflate the temperature data to show more warming. In this podcast, they also discuss the chances that the United States will be bound by whatever agreement President Obama signs. As Taylor states toward the end of the podcast, this is potentially the most important, and perhaps consequential, climate conference to date.
