Heartland Institute Research Fellow H. Sterling Burnett appeared as a guest on the Conservative Commandos Radio Show at WNJC-1360 in Philadelphia with Rick Trader and Dana Allen to discuss the religion of climate change. In this 20 minute argument, Burnett walks through the recent attempts to indoctrinate students via the ‘sustainable’ learning plan, which incorporates environmental issues into all facets of education from math to literature all in the name of ‘sustainability.’ ‘Sustainability’ sounds like a positive word. After all, who would not want a healthy population number? However, the insidious goal of these supporters is not to promote sound energy programs that would feed and warm people worldwide, but to enact the United Nations’ goal of indoctrinating ‘green citizens’ who only believe in certain ways to live, only enjoy certain activities, and fully support the alarmist narrative. Burnett proposes that the only way to solve this is through parental choice in education and taking control away from the government teachers pushing this curriculum.
