Aouste is a graduate from DePaul University with a BA in Political Science. While studying he participated in the Fund for American Studies program in Washington D.C. Prior to joining Heartland in 2015, he was a staff intern on Bruce Rauner’s successful Illinois gubernatorial campaign. Aouste resides in Hainseville, Illinois.

This Thursday, Senior Fellow Fred Palmer went on the Mornings with Ray Dunaway program to discuss his latest Washington Examiner piece “A fool’s errand: Al Gore’s $15 trillion carbon tax.” Their focus was Gore’s agenda as “snake oil salesman”, his personal wealth creation at everyone else’s expense, his latest agenda and the importance of fossil fuels to continue carrying us into the future, as well as CO2’s role as a gas vital to the healthy growth of plant life across the world.
