In today’s edition of The Heartland Daily Podcast, David Schnare, general counsel of the Energy & Environment Legal Institute, joins H. Sterling Burnett to discuss the collusion between state attorney’s general and radical environmental groups.
Bill went where the data led him, especially when it came to the frequency of hurricane activity due to man-caused, CO2-driven global warming. Point of fact: Bill said Al Gore’s filmed prediction of AGW causing more hurricanes was nonsense. Bill, not Al, was proven right.
Losing the climate science battle, climate alarmists want government to silence skeptics. They haven’t employed the thumb screws, rack or auto-da-fe that churches and states once used to interrogate, silence and eliminate heretics and witches. However, global warming alarmists are well practiced in the modern equivalents, to protect their $1.5-trillion Climate Crisis Industry.
In today’s edition of The Heartland Daily Podcast, H. Sterling Burnett, managing editor of Environment & Climate News speaks with Russell Cook. Cook is the creator of GelbspanFiles.com, a website devoted to researching the origins of false accusations leveled at global warming “skeptics.” Cook, also the author of The Heartland Institute’s Merchants of Smear, joins Burnett to discuss the perverse depths climate alarmists go to smear the names of climate scientists skeptical of claims humans are causing catastrophic global warming.
On Thursday and Friday, June 11-12, there will be a gathering of some of the nation’s and the world’s leading climate change “skeptics” in Washington, D.C. and joining them will be members of Congress and their staffs. The Tenth International Conference on Climate Change will occur and the odds are that the mainstream media, as it has done for all the previous conferences, will do its best to ignore it.
Congressman Grijalva and Senators Markey, Boxer and Whitehouse sent letters to universities, think tanks and companies, demanding detailed information on skeptics’ funding and activities – in an attempt to destroy their funding, reputations and careers, while advancing “crony climate alarm science.”
Sen. Edward Markey (D-MA), other senators and Congressman Raul Grijalva (D-AZ) recently sent letters to institutions that employ or support climate change researchers whose work questions claims that Earth and humanity face unprecedented manmade climate change catastrophes.
The idea that the causes of climate change are now just as well established as gravity or the non-flatness of the Earth (or that ulcers are caused by too much stress and spicy food, too?) is so ridiculous that only young school children could be indoctrinated with such silly tripe.
Attention, MSM climate reporters: Not only do you not understand the climate, you don’t understand how or why you do not understand the climate. That’s just one reason why you need to respect scientists such as climate “skeptic” John Christy, who at least has the humility to understand that. Confused? Then read on.

Leading scientists know that the “prestige” academic journals are biased in favor of flashy and politically correct research findings, even when such findings are frequently contradicted by subsequent research.
