Are China’s leaders better than America’s? I doubt it. One-party rule cannot possibly be better than two-party rule, because there’s more opportunity for the corruption, recklessness and abuse of citizens that absolute power brings.
Democrats and Republicans may be separate wings of the same bird of prey, but sometimes the wings don’t beat together in perfect sync, which makes our government less able than China’s to force things down our throats.
With this in mind I present this brief Bloomberg News report, “Behind the Wall: China’s Ghost Cities.”
China might be blowing an even bigger real estate bubble than our government leaders helped blow.
