Heartland Communications Director Jim Lakely and Reporter Loren Heal discuss Loren’s recently viral story on the Los Angeles Unified School District using tax dollars to sell ObamaCare to their families. “Cover California,” Califronia’s Health Insurance Exchange, hands a million dollars in grants to LA Unified School District to teach its kids to reach out to family members in favor of the Obamacare.
Basically, our tax dollars are being used to indoctrinate students with a highly political agenda. Isn’t that a little creepy?
However, Loren found that people in the LA Unified School District did not find it creepy or even unusual. They were just concerned with the program’s effectiveness, since the grant money coming in is based on how many contacts they can get the kids to make.
Loren points a recent court decision makes it illegal for companies to make unpaid interns promote their agendas, yet in these schools children are being used in a very partisan grant program to get people to sign up for an increasingly unpopular Obamacare.
Listen in to find out who gets the money and the rest of the unscrupulous details in the player above.
