David Hogberg, a health policy analyst at the National Center for Public Policy Research, discusses his research from last fall regarding claims that the insurance coverage available under Obamacare is generally of a higher quality than what was available before.
According to Hogberg this is simply not accurate, at least not for many people. Instead they are paying higher premiums for coverage that has higher deductibles than before, has narrower networks than plans previously available, and often provides benefits of limited value to many.
