Today’s special edition of The Heartland Daily Podcast comes to you from Paris where Director of Communications, Jim Lakely, is joined by Heartland Vice President James Taylor to discuss the attacks from the environmental left in response to Heartland’s “Day of Examining the Data” climate conference – the only gathering that addressed climate science during the United Nations’ COP-21 event.
In the days surrounding Heartland’s counter-conference, the environmental left pulled out all the stops to limit the influence of this important event. Across the city, activists plastered “wanted” posters of the members of the Heartland contingent in an attempt to vilify and intimidate these experts. Taylor also describes incidents that took place during the event from “journalists” from a far-left attack blog attempted to disrupt the conference by interrupting the speakers and yelling, to protesters trying to force their way into the room.
Even with all these obstacles, the conference was a great success. You can watch the conference in full here.
