For nearly an hour, Ferrara masterfully navigated how despite promises of being “affordable” for families, the Affordable Care Act has in fact increased premiums across the board for an average of $3,775 for a working family. Ferrara notes how costs have increased $17,000 per year since Obamacare was passed in 2010, and insurers such as Aetna have pulled out of the majority of Obamacare exchanges citing $430 million losses.
