Peter Ferrara, senior fellow for entitlement and budget policy at The Heartland Institute, joined host Mary Walter on Patriot Tonight to discuss a bill designed to reform Social Security Ferrara co-wrote with Congressman Paul Ryan.
The bill allowed individuals to invest in privately managed funds as opposed to relying solely on Social Security. Ultimately, the bill did not come up for a vote, but the battle is not nearly over. Ferrara talks about how he’s advocating to bring this reform bill back to stave off the eventual collapse of the Social Security Ponzi scheme.
