Dr. Jagadish Shukla, along with several other scientists, sent a letter to President Obama and Defense Sec. Loretta Lynch requesting that they bring RICO charges against “climate skeptics.” The letter, however, exposed some questionable financial dealings and a strange relationship between Shukla, taxpayers, and the research institute, Institute of Global Environment and Society.

Leonardo DiCaprio claims to be “divesting” from companies that use or process fossil fuels. But he certainly won’t stop using fossil fuels to jet to his many environmental fundraisers.

Twenty protesters were arrested in front of John Kerry’s house last week. The group, Midwest Unrest, claims to oppose the “Enbridge Pipeline,” but seems to be related to a much larger effort at heading off any development of a pipeline to carry oil the Alberta tar sands.
